LeeOra and I had a great time with Bro. Lee and Linda Watson and the good people of Bay City Baptist Church this past Sunday. These are some of the few "Salt of the Earth" people still left in the world. They are very interested in working with us once we get up to Flagstaff. Even wanting to bring a group to do some work at the camp or help in starting the church by spreading the word in Flagstaff. I was surprised to find out the Church had already voted to support us. So all I had to do was enjoy myself and preach.
My message was on "Storm Riding with The Savior" from Luke 8. Three walked the aisle for prayer. One was dear lady I prayed with whose husband is dying of cancer, talk about going through a storm. I told her that we would keep them in our prayers. That night I did the presentation and also a short lesson on Christ's Blueprint for prayer from Luke 11. Bro. Watson asked for the rest of the lesson to give to the church. Made me feel good. I really like deputation so far.
I updated several things on the website and fixed several broken links to sermons and Bible studies. Check out my Google calendar ( http://1stvision.org/calendar.html )which now updates with my Palm calendar. (Pretty Cool) We'll be busy until June 1st but are free after that. I could really use some Wednesday dates but seems everyone is having Awanas or Bible Clubs on those nights and there aren't any adults to preach to.
Keep us and prayer and remember "Hear the Word, Seek the Knowledge and See the Vision!"
